Dream big ("pretend it's your yacht" at the adjoining marina) or eat big (via the "abundant buffets") at this "well-run", "good-priced" "respite from the madness of Waikiki" near Ala Moana Center and a "short walk to some very nice beaches"; the "friendly" staff "goes out of its way to satisfy", but while some appreciate the rooms for their "water views" and "zero noise", others carp that they're "starting to show their age" and "aren't what the Prince name" suggests.

Beautiful, great location, friendly and a very helpful staff. Room was beautifully kept and was cleaned and smelled fresh. Over all and excellent hotel, would recommend it to everyone.

No microwave in room, no direct beach access, but close to other locations that did have access.
Excellent view of the ocean from our room. Would have been nice if the hotel had offered a continental breakfast.

No microwaves in the rooms & no shuttle after 10 pm.
Lovely view of the harbor and excellent customer service. Comfy beds and everything you could need at your finger tips. In room coffee & fridge very nice.

No good restaurants near the hotel.
Food quality in Hawaii is generally below expectation and too expensive. Otherwise, it would have been a perfect place to travel.

Other than smell everything was fine.
Smell is number one issue.
Very nice. The hotel has a bad musty odor in the lobby and some of the rooms. That was our only issue.

Carpet was old/dirty; could use some interior paint in rooms.
